Cardiac biomarkers and cardiovascular risk: my cardiologist ordered advanced cardiac labs given my family history. Results were encouraging:
- NT-proBNP: 55 pg/mL (normal, cardiac function preserved)
- Lp(a): 25 nmol/L (genetic, unchanged — expected)
