One thing that is still open after Dr.MetabolicMD’s answer:

How often to repeat it, because quarterly seems to be the convention and I cannot find the reasoning?

I read this differently from BethLabQueen, on substance rather than tone. I think the framing smuggles in the conclusion. Ask it the other way round and the obvious answer reverses, which usually means the question is doing the work.

That is right for the common case. Whether it is right for the case being asked about depends on a detail that has not been given.

Clinical perspective, offered as context rather than as advice. The mechanism and the magnitude are separate questions. Agreeing that something happens says nothing about whether it happens enough to act on.

I would rather be corrected than agreed with, if it comes to it.
