They are two different exemptions from the same federal requirements and they buy different things.

Bookmarking. The distinction being drawn above is the one nobody else makes. Adding it to my notes with a link back to this thread.

Clinical perspective, offered as context rather than as advice.

I have been on both brand and compounded, and in the context of compounded supply, my experience has been equivalent with both. The key is finding a reliable 503B pharmacy with independent testing.

Albumin binding above 99% is the whole reason weekly dosing works, and it is also why the trough matters more than the peak.

Pushing back on Dr.KarenChen here. The trial means are being read too generously in this thread. STEP populations were selected, supported, and titrated by protocol, and the real-world curves are consistently a few points worse. That difference is not noise, it is what happens when you remove the study infrastructure.

Resolution therefore closed the doors unevenly, and the asymmetry follows from the bulks lists.

Compounded has been just as effective for me. If compounded supply is the concern, the COA from my 503B pharmacy shows 99.1% purity. Verified by Janoshik.

Moderator note: a post naming a supplier has been edited. Discuss suppliers in the review sections, not here. Carry on.
