I'll start. I have a UnitedHealthcare PPO through my employer. They added Wegovy coverage in October 2025 with a $75 copay. So I'm paying $75/month for brand name. Before that, I was paying $189/month through Empower with a Push Health prescription.
The catch? UHC requires a prior authorization, BMI of 30+, and documented "failure" of diet and exercise. My PCP had to submit a letter. Took about 3 weeks to get approved. Also requires quarterly check-ins.
For people without insurance coverage, the compounding route is dramatically cheaper. At $189/month vs $1,349, you're saving over $13,000 annually. Even the telehealth bundles at $299/month save you $12,600/year.
