I read this differently from DanielChem_CHI, on substance rather than tone. I would resist the confidence. Half of what this board was certain about two years ago has since been quietly dropped, and nobody went back to correct the threads.

Right, and the exception is worth naming rather than left implied, because the exception is where people get into trouble.

Thank you — that is the clearest version of this I have read, and I have read a lot of them. I will report back once I have actually tried it.

Clinical perspective, offered as context rather than as advice. There is a difference between no evidence and evidence of no effect, and this subject is one where the two get swapped freely in both directions.

Found this through search years later and it is still the best discussion of the question, so adding one thing. If you are going to change something, change one thing and give it long enough to express itself. Four weeks is the usual minimum for anything pharmacological on this board, and two weeks of data has told you almost nothing.
