Plateau breaking story with a stall: I stalled at 195 lbs for 5 weeks.

Filing a mild objection. Mild because I might be wrong; an objection because nobody has addressed the case that does not fit. The "it is your intake" reflex here gets tiring. Some people genuinely stop responding at a dose that worked, and telling them to track harder when they have already tracked is how people stop posting.

One concrete data point for the thread. If you are comparing against somebody else’s result, check that you are comparing the same measurement taken the same way. Most of the apparent contradictions in these threads dissolve at that step.

Coming at pete_manc_UK’s question from a different direction. Worth answering the question that was asked rather than the one behind it. The narrow version usually has an answer; the broad version usually does not, and answering the broad one is how a thread stops being useful.

A narrower follow-up, since the general answer is now clear:

What would you measure differently if you were starting again?

Reporting back.

Rolling average over five weeks showed I had lost 1.6kg during my "plateau". The scale was noise and the tape had moved. I changed nothing and it resumed.
