Adding the numbers, since they settle part of this. One habit that pays for itself: post the method alongside the number. A figure without its method cannot be checked, and an unchecked figure is how this community accumulates folklore.

What distinguishes the nausea you can titrate through from the nausea that means stop?

Coming at Dr.AddMedPHL’s question from a different direction. Start from the measurement rather than the conclusion. Almost every disagreement here turns out to be two people measuring different things and comparing the numbers anyway.

I would rather be corrected than agreed with, if it comes to it.

OP back with an update, since a thread like this is useless without one.

Holding the step for six weeks instead of four did it. Same dose, same food, and the nausea that had felt like a wall turned out to be a timing problem.

That is correct as far as it goes, and here is where it stops going. The meal advice is right and incomplete without the hydration point. People stop drinking because drinking makes them feel full, then attribute dehydration symptoms to the drug.
