I am tired in a way that does not respond to sleep, which is different from the tiredness I had before any of this started.

So the question, as narrowly as I can put it: whether the fatigue is a direct drug effect or simply the caloric deficit, because the answer changes what you do about it.

Not looking for reassurance. Looking for the part I have got wrong.

This one has a reasonably settled answer, so here it is. It helps to ask what evidence would change your mind before you look at any. If nothing would, the discussion is not about evidence, and it is better to say so early than to spend nine posts discovering it.

I would rather be corrected than agreed with, if it comes to it.

Agreed, with the usual condition: that holds for the average and this board is a collection of individuals. A population claim and a personal prediction are different things and get quoted interchangeably.

Adding a me-too, because a thread of one person's experience is not much use.

Clinical perspective, offered as context rather than as advice. The distinction that resolves most of these threads is between what is true on average and what is true for one person. Both are real; they answer different questions and get quoted as if they were the same one.
