Here's a practical dual-route protocol:

Morning:

  • BPC-157 oral capsule: 500 mcg, taken on an empty stomach with water, 30 min before food
  • BPC-157 subQ injection: 250 mcg, abdominal injection

Evening:

  • BPC-157 oral capsule: 500 mcg, taken 2+ hours after last meal
  • BPC-157 subQ injection: 250 mcg, abdominal injection

Duration: 6-8 weeks, then reassess

Yes, the total daily BPC intake is higher (1500 mcg total between oral and injectable), but BPC-157 has an extremely favorable safety profile in animal studies — Sikiric's group has given very high doses without observing toxicity (PMID: 26631191). No human safety data at these specific doses, but the animal margin of safety is wide.

Cost-wise, this dual protocol runs maybe $150-200/month depending on sources. Not cheap but not unreasonable if it lets you stay compliant on your GLP-1 RA.

Quality note on oral BPC-157 products: there's more variability in the oral market compared to injectable. Some things to verify:

  • Form: Look for BPC-157 Arginate (arginine salt) with enteric-coated capsules. The arginine salt improves stability at gastric pH.
  • Dose accuracy: Some capsule products have been independently tested and found to contain less peptide than labeled. Buy from vendors who provide batch-specific third-party testing.
  • Fillers and excipients: Check for unnecessary fillers. A good product should have BPC-157 arginate, a capsule shell (HPMC for veggie caps or gelatin), and minimal fillers (maybe microcrystalline cellulose as a flow agent).

For injectable: same quality standards as always — HPLC ≥ 98%, mass spec confirmation, endotoxin testing. The injectable market is generally more standardized and reliable.

Perfect. Going with the dual-route approach. Ordered injectable vials and oral caps from the same supplier. Will start next week and document my experience. Thanks for walking me through this — the peptide world can be overwhelming when you're starting out. 🙌
