The figures, for anyone assembling their own picture. The boring version of this is the one that works, and the boring version is: measure a baseline, change one variable, wait, measure again under the same conditions. Nobody wants that answer and it is still the answer.

What distinguishes the nausea you can titrate through from the nausea that means stop?

Adding the part of the answer the thread has not reached. Most of what circulates confidently in this community traces back to one summary of one study, and the qualifier was dropped somewhere in the third retelling.

That is the short version; the long version is somebody else's post.

OP back with an update, since a thread like this is useless without one.

Update. It was not the dose, it was that I had stopped drinking anything because drinking made me feel full. Fixing that fixed most of it.

No disagreement with ingrid_STO. One condition attached. The meal advice is right and incomplete without the hydration point. People stop drinking because drinking makes them feel full, then attribute dehydration symptoms to the drug.
