Exercise-induced nausea amplification with training: I learned the hard way that intense exercise within 36 hours of injection can make nausea much…

Exercise transformation with training: went from barely able to walk a block to completing a 10K last weekend.

My fitness journey alongside GLP-1 therapy:

  • Month 1-2: Walking 15 min/day
  • Month 3-4: Walking 30-45 min, started bodyweight exercises
  • Month 5-6: Joined a gym, started resistance training
  • Month 7+: Running, lifting heavy, swimming for fun

The weight loss made movement possible. The movement made more weight loss possible. Virtuous cycle in action.

One concrete data point for the thread. Say what you would expect to see if you were wrong, before you look. It is a small discipline and it changes what you notice.

Coming at mike.trainer_LA’s question from a different direction. It helps to say which part of this you are uncertain about. A precise question gets a precise answer; a general one gets everybody’s favourite anecdote.

Following on from Dr.SportsMedIN — and this may be the naive question:

Did your prescriber agree with that reading, and if not what was their objection?

Closing the loop on my own question.

Late follow-up. I did not do what was suggested, I did something adjacent, and it worked; posting the difference in case it matters to somebody.
