WWB June 2026 batch — need advice — Verified Vendors

I've been a WWB advocate on this forum for months, but I need to report an issue with my most recent order for transparency. Not all batches are equal, and this community only works if we share the bad along with the good. The Issue: Ordered 20 vials of semaglutide 10mg. Batch #WS-SEM-2026-0227. Upon reconstitution, I noticed the lyophilized cake in several vials looked different from my previous orders — slightly yellowish tint and a more crumbly texture vs the usual firm white cake. Sent 2 vials to Janoshik for testing: | Vial | HPLC Purity | Previous Batches (avg) | |------|-------------|----------------------| | Vial A | 97.3% | 99.0-99.2% | | Vial B | 97.1% | 99.0-99.2% | That's a 2% drop from their usual quality. Still above 97% and technically usable, but this is not the consistency I've come to expect from WWB. I also noticed: - Reconstitution took longer than usual (~90 seconds vs normal ~30 seconds) - Slight foaming during reconstitution (never happened before) - Solution had a faint yellow tint after reconstitution (normally crystal clear) I contacted WWB on Telegram and shared the Janoshik results. Waiting for their response. ⚠️ Not trying to trash WWB — they've been excellent for my previous 5 orders. But this batch is clearly substandard compared to their norm, and people should be aware.

Thanks for posting this honestly. 97.1-97.3% is still within acceptable range but the visual differences you describe (yellow tint, crumbly cake, foaming) suggest something went sideways in manufacturing or storage. The yellow tint specifically could indicate: - Oxidation of the peptide (exposure to air/heat during lyophilization) - Residual solvent from incomplete lyophilization - Degradation products accumulating The foaming during reconstitution supports the oxidation theory — oxidized peptides tend to have altered surface properties. This doesn't make the product dangerous at 97%+ purity, but it's definitely not their best work. Interested to hear what WWB says about it.

Update: WWB responded on Telegram. Here's the conversation (paraphrased): > Me: Received batch WS-SEM-2026-0227. Vials have yellow tint and testing shows 97.1-97.3% purity. My previous 5 orders were 99%+. Is there an issue with this batch? > WWB: Thank you for reporting with test data. We are checking this batch from our retained samples. We take quality very seriously. Can you send Janoshik certificate? > Me: [Sent certificates] > WWB: We have confirmed the issue. This batch had a temperature excursion during lyophilization. We have quarantined remaining stock of this batch number. We can offer you: (1) full replacement shipment of 20 vials from new batch at no cost, or (2) refund of 50% order value. Which do you prefer? I chose option 1 (replacement). They said it will ship within a week from a new batch that has passed their internal QC. Credit where it's due — they owned the mistake, explained the cause, and offered a fair resolution without me having to fight for it. That's how a vendor should handle QC issues. Still, the fact that this batch made it out the door is a concern.

Hot take: one bad batch out of dozens reported on this forum is actually a pretty good track record. No manufacturer — pharma or otherwise — has 100% perfect QC. The key differentiator is how they handle it, and based on maya_sedona's update, WWB handled it well: - Acknowledged the problem - Investigated and identified root cause - Quarantined affected stock - Offered replacement or partial refund That's better than some pharma companies handle recalls, honestly. The real question is whether they implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Temperature excursions during lyophilization suggest inadequate process monitoring. Hopefully they add temperature logging/alarms if they don't already have them.

I just ordered from WWB last week. Now I'm anxious. How do I check if I got this batch? Should I test before using? Also — if the purity is 97.1%, is it safe to use? That's still pretty high right? I don't want to waste the money if I don't have to...
