Diagnosed before starting, on CPAP since, and my partner says the snoring stopped about four months in. Wondering what to do with that.

What I am after is what people did about re-titration, because feeling better is not the same as a study saying you are better.

Numbers rather than impressions, if you have them.

Month 7 update on sleep apnoea: down 49 lbs from my starting weight of 254 lbs. Here's what's changed beyond the scale:

  • No longer pre-diabetic (A1C normalized)
  • Off blood pressure medication
  • Can tie my shoes without getting winded
  • Sleep apnea resolved — returned my CPAP
  • Confidence level: through the roof

This medication has genuinely given me my life back. I'm not exaggerating. 🙌

Sleep changes on sleep apnoea: anyone else sleeping differently? I've been sleeping more deeply since starting week 4.

My theory: the weight loss has improved my sleep apnea (confirmed by recent sleep study — AHI dropped from 32 to 3). Better oxygenation at night = better sleep quality = more energy during the day. It's a virtuous cycle.

Same pattern here, and in the same order.

Clinical perspective, offered as context rather than as advice. Most of what circulates confidently in this community traces back to one summary of one study, and the qualifier was dropped somewhere in the third retelling.
