...regarding food noise mechanism of action...

To build on this — the mechanism is more complex than "it makes you less hungry." GLP-1 agonists:

  1. Activate hypothalamic satiety centers (appetite reduction)
  2. Delay gastric emptying (prolonged fullness)
  3. Potentiate glucose-dependent insulin secretion
  4. Suppress glucagon secretion
  5. Modulate reward pathway dopaminergic signaling
  6. Reduce hepatic lipogenesis
  7. Have direct cardiovascular protective effects

It's a multi-target drug with systemic metabolic effects. Understanding the mechanism helps us predict and manage side effects.

Rebound hunger after missed dose of food noise: I missed my injection by 3 days due to a shipping delay and the hunger came ROARING back.

Thank you for spelling out the reasoning rather than just the conclusion. Taking it to my next appointment.

This is where I part company with the consensus forming above. Not convinced. The evidence being cited is consistent with the conclusion and also consistent with two other conclusions nobody has ruled out.

I would rather be corrected than agreed with, if it comes to it.

One concrete data point for the thread. If you are going to change something, change one thing and give it long enough to express itself. Four weeks is the usual minimum for anything pharmacological on this board, and two weeks of data has told you almost nothing.

Moderator note: a post naming a supplier has been edited. Discuss suppliers in the review sections, not here. Carry on.
